DREAM – Dominican Republic Education and Mentoring project

This is one of the many projects taking place in the Dominican Republic which helps provide a better standard of education for many Dominican children.  Based in Cabarete, this organisation both improves and builds schools, provides teachers and supplies and runs a summer camp each year for hundreds of local children.

New school in Santo Domingo.

President Fernandez opened a brand new school in Santo Domingo last week.  Hopefully we’ll see more of this throughout the country.


British kids help build a school in the Dominican Republic

To be honest, although I am English, I have no idea where Bewdley is. Time to pull out Google Earth. However, some really nice kids from Bewdley school have raised funds to build a school for Haitian refugees in the Dominican Republic.
